Bursary applications will open in October 2020

Student and early-career EACR members may be eligible to apply for a meeting bursary to fund their attendance at EACR 2021.

The bursaries provide funds of up to €1300 (weighted in relation to estimated travel costs) to support early rate registration, travel and accommodation to EACR members.

50% of our bursary funding for EACR 2021 will be awarded to applicants working in low and middle income countries as defined by the World Bank.

Bursary application deadline: 24 February 2021

Eligibility for an EACR 2021 meeting bursary

In order to apply, you should:

  • be a member of the EACR
  • be a PhD student or have completed your PhD (or equivalent degree) less than four years ago. Exceptions may be made in the case of researchers who have had a professional break, such as illness or parental leave.
  • have submitted an abstract for the congress on the congress website
